Mr Mathew Foo
Mathew’s professional background is in materials engineering working predominately in Senior Management, information Technology, R&D, Business Strategy and Risk Management.
Mathew underwent a procedure at The Alfred in 2021 and has a lived experience as a cardiac patient. Since retiring Mathew has been a consumer representative in several committees including Safercare Victoria, Alfred/Monash Shared Pathology Strategy Steering Committee and Soundfair (a not-for-profit organisation associated with hearing loss).
Mathew is committed to using his experiences as a patient to assist Alfred Health in their understanding consumer’s (especially migrants) views and expectations.
