Mr Allan Hood
Allan is the Chief Executive Officer of Bulla Dairy Foods - an iconic Australian family owned dairy company, which has been operating for more than 108 years.
Allan was formally appointed in July 2015 as the CEO at Bulla Dairy Foods (Bulla). After transitioning from the role of CFO, which he held for just over a year, Allan’s mission as CEO is focused on leading the transformation of Bulla. This involves; refocusing Bulla’s strategy; building alignment and engagement across all 750 employees; increasing domestic market share; the development of the next generation of amazing Innovation, forming new partnerships for Bulla’s export markets and leading Bulla’s entry into the direct sourcing of farm gate milk.
Prior to arriving in Australia, Allan gained global experience with Diageo PLC, where he worked for over 20 years. During this time, Allan was based in the UK and across many of Diageo’s emerging markets such as Dubai, India, Jamaica and Tanzania. Allan is a Chartered Accountant having qualified through the Scottish Institute.
Allan is married to Elaine and they have two children, Euan and McKenzie, who have adapted very well to the Aussie way of life.
