Improving Cystic Fibrosis Outpatient Care
We have provided expert care for people living with Cystic Fibrosis in Victoria for a number of years. Cystic Fibrosis care is changing and we would like to hear from you so we can continue delivering the best care into the future.
Why are we having this conversation now?
Cystic Fibrosis treatment and care needs are changing. This, plus the pandemic response, means we need to adapt how we deliver care to better meet the needs of the community.
Staff and consumers have identified opportunities to do things differently, and part of that includes hearing from as many consumers as possible. Consumers include anyone with Cystic Fibrosis who receives inpatient or outpatient care at the Alfred.
How can I participate?
We have developed a short 6 question survey so we can hear from you about:
- Your healthcare and experiences with current outpatient servies
- Your future needs and how outpatient services could improve
You can also partner with us as a Consumer Advisor during the consultation. You can find out more about partnering and how you can apply here

The survey will take around 5 minutes to complete and is completely anonymous. The survey will close at the end of October 2023.
