The Emergency Medicine Research Course is a semester-long program run conjointly by Monash University and The Alfred Emergency & Trauma Centre. It is delivered part time and requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours a week. The course is equivalent to two postgraduate units (12 credit points) and can be used towards a Masters of Clinical Medicine (Emergency) from Monash University.
The online delivery format temporarily adopted due to the current pandemic is ideally suited to interstate and international ACEM trainees, or clinicians wanting to commence a career in emergency medicine research. Participants will be required to complete weekly study modules for the duration of the course, as well as two assignments and two sets of intensive study blocks.
