Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Care research
Research activity across Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Care (RACC) is strong and continues to build on the strategic intentions outlined in the 2014-2016 Research Strategy.
The current Strategy looks to focus on specific research program areas that best represent the local clinical environment.
RACC continues to provide research support to foster a thriving research culture whilst providing necessary infrastructure that supports this culture. The service provides funding through the internal Research Grants Program to support research projects by staff at Caulfield Hospital. Furthermore, staff are supported in their research endeavours by a Research Support Coordinator within the Business and Strategy Unit.
Currently, research growth is strong with many services making substantial contributions to RACC’s growing research environment. Many of these services collaborate with other disciplines and departments across the Hospital.
