Dr Rohit Samuel
Dr Rohit Samuel is an interventional and general cardiologist at The Alfred.
Rohit graduated from Monash University with first class honours in 2012. He completed his basic physician training at The Alfred; and subsequently completed advanced cardiology training in Geelong, St Vincent’s and The Alfred. During his training, Rohit also completed a Masters of Public Health and a Masters of Clinical Ultrasound. He undertook a two-year fellowship in interventional and structural cardiology at Vancouver General Hospital; and has expertise in coronary angiography, stenting, intravascular imaging and advanced transcatheter structural interventions. During his fellowship, Rohit completed further training in cardiac CT and is accredited as a cardiac CT specialist. He continues to be involved in clinical research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as authoring several book chapters.
