Rox is a clinical nurse consultant who specialises in structural heart nursing.

Rox is a cardiac nurse specialist with 30 years of cardiac nursing experience and has specialised into structural heart at The Alfred since 2008. The Alfred Structural heart program is one of Australia’s leading sites that provides the latest transcatheter procedures and emerging technologies for patients requiring treatment for their heart valve disease.

She is highly involved in improving the outcomes and the experience for patients undergoing treatment for heart valve disease. She was awarded The Heart Foundation Victoria award for excellence in Cardiovascular Health Assessment, at Deakin University, for studies on the care of structural heart patients. Rox is a Structural Heart Nurse representative on the Cardiac Society for Australia & New Zealand (CSANZ) Interventional Nurses Council Committee and is a member of the medical advisory committee for patient advocacy group Hearts 4 Heart.

Rox holds a Master of Health Service Management, Bachelor of Nursing (Honours) and Post Graduate Diploma in cardiac critical care nursing.

As a Structural Heart clinical nurse consultant, Rox provides an extensive range of support and assistance to patients, families and referring specialists accessing The Alfred Structural Heart Program.
