Occupational Therapy

Patient information

View Health Professional Information
We focus on helping you live a satisfying and meaningful life by being able to do the things you want to do, need to do and are expected to do. These 'occupations' can include looking after your own needs, performing household duties, being involved in community activities, work or study and pursuing leisure activities.

What we do

We assess:

  • Your physical, cognitive and psychosocial abilities, skills and difficulties
  • The environments in which you perform your occupations, such as your home, school and workplace
  • The unique ways in which you participate in your occupations.

Our interventions are designed to:

  • Let you participate in your chosen occupations by building your skills and capacity, providing education and equipment, and modifying environments
  • Promote your health and well-being through encouraging you to engage in occupations that enhance your health.
