Prof Victoria Mar

MBBS (Hons), FACD, PhD — Director of the Victorian Melanoma Service

Prof Victoria Mar is the Director of the Victorian Melanoma Service at The Alfred and Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University.

She completed her PhD at Monash University/VMS and Peter MacCallum entitled ‘Clinical and molecular characteristics of aggressive melanoma’ (2014), and supervises doctoral students in clinical and translational research projects.

She is a board member of the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Trials Group. She has co-authored a number of chapters for the Cancer Council Australia Melanoma Guidelines and is Clinical Lead for the Melanoma Clinical Outcomes Registry and Victorian Lead for the Australian Centre of Excellence for Melanoma Imaging and Diagnosis.
