Ms Kim Hungerford

Kim's involvement with Alfred Health has been as a patient and then consumer advisor, participating in a patient story video, discussing her own experience of healthcare and more recently providing feedback on other video stories related to accessibility, closed/open captions. Kim’s specific area of interest is in access and inclusion related to information and communication provision for those with specific needs and/or low health literacy levels.

Kim is an active community participant with strong links with the deaf community and interpreter organisations such as Expressions Australia. Kim has a passion for advocacy and is about to undertake further study in community engagement.
