Proud to be Premier’s Health Service of the Year
Alfred Health has been named large health service of the year at a ceremony attended by Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, and Minister for Health Jill Hennessy.
Alfred Health Chief Executive, A/Prof Andrew Way said it was a privilege to accept the award on behalf of such dedicated and skilled staff.
"We are extremely proud to care for Victorians and are devoted to putting patients first, placing them front and centre,” A/Prof Way said.
Congratulations also to Dr Sharon Avery and her team. Their Positive Change for Lifeprogram was highly commended in the Minister for Health’s Award for Excellence in Cancer Care category.
The Victorian Public Healthcare Awards are held each year to recognise quality, innovation and excellence by government-funded healthcare providers and organisations delivering public health research and/or programs.
