Our service provides comprehensive care for people affected by genitourinary cancers from diagnosis and treatment through to follow-up care. Our expert team provide coordinated care in a supportive environment for patients, their carers and families.

Genitourinary cancers are found in the urinary system (kidney and bladder), as well as the male reproductive system (prostate, testicles and penis).

Our Service
The Alfred Genitourinary Cancer Service includes an experienced team of:

Our expert multidisciplinary team works together to provide the best care and support our patients at every stage of their treatment, giving our patients access to the latest diagnostics and treatments to manage their cancers.
The full range of treatment options are available including complex surgery, radiation oncology, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies and clinical trials. The Genitourinary Cancer Service is active in clinical research, clinical trials and registries, aiming to improve the care and outcomes for current and future patients.
