About Wren
Our goal is to create an inclusive, respectful and welcoming environment focused on women’s mental health.
The 35-place statewide service supports Victorian women aged 18 years and over, with a range of complex issues including experiences of trauma, sexual abuse, eating disorders and perinatal mental health concerns.
The service was co-designed with women with lived experience, following on from the recommendations by the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System.
Clinicians, women and their support network come together to understand women’s experiences and develop gender, violence and trauma-informed treatment, care and support.
Wren ensures women's physical and psychological safety, elevates voices, enhances wellbeing, and provides a sense of belonging and empowerment.
Currently the network is operating in Shepparton and in Melbourne at Albert Road.
