Getting started
For most people, telehealth is quick and easy to get started, but we are also here to help if you need assistance.
Before your appointment
- Allow enough time for the appointment. We will do our best to see you as close to your appointment time as possible, however some clinic appointments may require you to wait.
- Do a test call by pressing the 'Test call' button. Clicking this link will open a new tab in your browser and test your device to ensure that your video and audio capabilities are working well. When finished, please return to this webpage and follow the instructions below.
On the day of your appointment
- Ensure you are in a quiet and private location
- Have a notebook and pen handy in case to need to take notes
- Log in 10 minutes prior to your appointment
To access your telehealth appointment:
- Click the link on your SMS, OR
- Paste that link into your web browser on your laptop, OR
- Click the 'Start video call' button to select your clinic from the service clinic list
- Fill in your details and follow the prompts until you enter the online waiting area
Important
Once connected to the online waiting room, please stay on the same webpage to receive updates and to see when your specialist is on-line. Closing or minimising this tab on your phone / PC / device will cause you to temporarily drop out of the waiting area and restart the timer. If this happens, you may not be seen on time.
