A lunch by the bay
Leading local business woman Patricia Ilhan will head an enlightening lunch to launch the 2017 Sandringham Hospital Appeal.
On Wednesday March 15, the bayside community will come together for A Lunch by the Bay, featuring Chair and Founder of the Australian Food Allergy Foundation, Patricia Ilhan, and hosted by Janet Spooner DGSJ OAM.
Patricia is a strong campaigner for food allergy research and funded the development of a world-first peanut allergy vaccine, currently under development at The Alfred. As a Brighton local and mum of four, Patricia is no stranger to the importance of quality community care - which she will speak about on the day.
Guests will enjoy live entertainment, raffles, a live auction and more.
All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Sandringham Hospital Appeal, which has a $2.5 million target to build a new day procedure centre for the local community. Current the fundraising tally has reached more than $1 million.
