Efforts of a few help the many during Dry July

Patient transport to and from The Alfred has received a big boost after an excellent fundraising effort during Dry July this year.
An impressive 81 supporters took part in the 2023 challenge, raising $26,524.
The Alfred provides free patient treatment. We are proud to deliver the very best possible care to all patients from across the state and country. However, some cancer patients are faced with additional challenges at a time in their lives when the priority should be focused on ensuring they receive the best possible care and treatment.
Unfortunately, just getting to the hospital to receive cancer treatment is difficult for some patients.
But thanks to your support and Dry July, we have been able to help fund further transport to give patients more opportunities to receive their treatment and ensure all patients get the very best possible care.
