Where the community benefits

The Alfred has been a part of the program since its inception in 1993, and donations received over the years have helped our expert staff continue to provide patients with the highest level of medical care available.

It is thanks to the generous support of those who continue to contribute to this wonderful public healthcare facility that we are able to remain at the forefront of medical treatment and healthcare.

We look forward to continuing to grow and strengthen our relationship with Ritchies, so as to further support the amazing and life-saving work undertaken at The Alfred. Thank you to everyone who has registered and contributed to this great initiative.

How you can help

Ritchies Community Benefit Program donates a percentage of the money spent by shoppers to their nominated club, school or charity. We encourage those wanting to further support The Alfred to register for the program and begin fundraising for our patients.

• Next time you shop at any Ritchies store, ask for your Ritchies Community Benefit card
• Nominate The Alfred as the community organisation that you would like to be the recipient of a donation from Ritchies
• Your Ritchies Community Benefit Card will be issued free of charge and can be used immediately to support The Alfred. Every time you shop, your card will be scanned at the register, automatically donating a percentage of the money you have spent to our hospital

Your card can be used at any Ritchies IGA store or supermarket throughout Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
