Refer your patient

We do not accept external referrals to our service

If you have a patient who is under a unit or team which has a psychologist, and they require psychological assessment and treatment, this can be provided via referral.

For patients requiring mental health treatment in the community, we recommend a referral to an appropriate Community Mental Health Service (Aged, Adults or Child & Youth).

In the case of a mental health crisis, patients should contact Psychiatric Triage on 1300 363 746. This is a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week service. An experienced mental health clinician will take their call or call them back if they leave a message.
