Pulmonary Rehabilitation is an 8-week exercise and education program for people with chronic lung conditions that teaches you the skills you need to exercise safely and manage your breathing.

What we do

Our program offers:

  • Group program in the hospital rehabilitation gym
  • Home based rehabilitation
  • Group Telerehabilitation using the internet in your home
  • Online and in-person support and education

Who we care for

We manage adults with long-term lung conditions who find that activities are getting harder because of their symptoms which may include shortness of breath, weakness and lethargy.

What to expect

Before you start, you will attend an individual assessment to work out a plan that is best for you. Over the 8 weeks, you will work with specially trained health professionals to increase your ability to exercise and reduce your symptoms. You can discuss which program is best suited for you with the pulmonary rehabilitation clinicians.

  • There is no fee to attend
  • Interpreter services are available
  • People using oxygen are able to attend
