Since 1988, the Collier Charitable Fund has donated over $1 million to The Alfred, primarily supporting the hospital through the donation of vital medical equipment.
In May this year, The Alfred Foundation held a special lunch to support an innovative new scholarship for Alfred Health nurses.
The Alfred continues to be overwhelmed by the generous community support the hospital received during Dry July. The support has helped to improve a number of well-used areas for patients and their loved ones across the hospital.
When Alfred ICU and hyperbaric nurse Natalie McGregor was diagnosed with cancer, she found out how hard it was to be a patient – it left her emotionally and physically drained.
The Alfred is extremely proud to be a partner in the community benefit program run by Ritchies Supermarkets – it means a great deal to us and helps provide vital funds for the hospital.
