About Alfred Cancer
Working together to provide comprehensive patient centred, quality care through investment, research and innovation.
The Alfred Cancer program delivers comprehensive cancer care across Alfred Health for patients affected by cancer, blood disorders and at the end of life.
The program provides quality clinical care for our local catchment, and to all Victorians through our state-wide melanoma, haematology and haemophilia services.
Alfred Cancer comprises service units providing clinical and research excellence in the fields of medical oncology, radiation oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, haemophilia, melanoma and palliative care.
Clinical trials are a large focus of The Alfred Cancer program with research embedded in each medical unit. Alfred Cancer also partners with rural and regional centres to deliver clinical trials and research activity across Victoria.
