Mr George H Richards
Board Member, The Alfred Foundation
George Richards has had over 50 years senior management experience in retail, marketing, manufacturing and distribution.
Prior to joining Mitre 10, George was Managing Director of Cooper Tools Pty Ltd, a major hand tool manufacturer based in Albury NSW.
Since retiring in 2000 as Chief Executive of Mitre 10 South West Ltd, he has been a Non-Executive Director on a number of public and private Boards.
Joining the Board of The Alfred Foundation in 1999, he had 12 years as Chairman of The Alfred hospital Father’s Day Committee, a Committee on which he remains an active member.
George is also a Life Governor of St Margaret’s School, Berwick.
