Ms Mikaela Wong
Mikaela is currently a Doctoral Candidate at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where she conducts research into cancer biology.
Mikaela offers a unique perspective, having navigated both public and private health care systems where she observed that youth with chronic health conditions are often underrepresented in health care decision making. Mikaela is an advocate for inclusive and equitable healthcare for all. She has previous experience as a consumer with Alfred Health’s Diversity and Inclusion Reference Group.
