Executive Director Finance/Chief Financial Officer

As Executive Director Finance/Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Scott is responsible for Alfred Health’s financial governance and helping to ensure the maximisation of, and optimal allocation of, the resources available to the organisation to best serve the public health of Victorians.

Scott Cumbrae-Stewart was appointed to the role of Alfred Health’s Chief Financial Officer (incorporating the role of Chief Procurement Officer) in October 2023.

As Alfred Health’s CFO and from a career spanning more than 25 years in senior finance roles in large and complex organisations, Scott has a strong track record in financial leadership, governance and control.  Scott is a driven, passionate and experienced financial professional with proven experience of thriving in challenging environments, creating and supporting high performance teams and enabling organisational change.

Scott is a qualified CPA, graduate of the Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and holds a MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University.
