Dr Chyn Chue
Dr Chyn Chua is a clinical and laboratory haematologist at the Alfred Hospital and the Northern Hospital.
Dr Chua graduated from Melbourne University in 2010 and completed her physician training at the Austin and Northern Hospitals. She undertook her specialist haematology training at the Austin Hospital followed by two years of fellowship in Acute Leukaemia at the Alfred Hospital. She is currently pursuing a PhD through Monash University at the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases, focusing on optimising treatment strategies in patients with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).
She has a strong interest in clinical trial development and currently leads multiple national investigator-initiated clinical trials in AML through the Australasian Leukaemia Lymphoma Group (ALLG). She is passionate about performing robust correlative science research to understand the mechanisms of disease response to novel drugs to progress advancements in therapeutic strategies.
