Mr Alan Williams
Alan retired from Coles Myer in October 2003 after a career which spanned over 40 years.
He held many positions starting as a casual boy after school, then held various positions within Coles Supermarkets becoming the Managing Director of Coles in 1995 and the Chief Operating Officer for the Food Liquor and Fuel Group in 2001.
Since then he has been involved with several companies providing advice and counsel.
Former Board member with The Costa Group, K&S Transport, The Army and the Airforce canteen service.
In the not for profit sector, Alan was involved with several organisations which include Chair of Foodbank Victoria (Australia’s largest food relief organisation)
Alan retired in 2015 and spent 10 years involved with several indigenous groups working to improve the operations within local community stores in remote communities.
