Stephen’s professional background is in Engineering, Project Management and Business (Sales and Marketing, General Management) in Australia & Internationally.

Stephen's involvement with Alfred Health is as a patient with lived experience since 2010. Stephen lives locally and has been a very active volunteer in a range of community groups including Salvation Army Melbourne (Project 614), Sacred Heart Mission and Mecwacare.

Stephen has been involved in various consumer advisor and volunteer activities at Alfred Health, including as a member of the Nutrition Committee, participation in various consumer focus groups and as a Ward Host Volunteer across the 5th floor (Respiratory/Trauma).

Stephen is committed to using his professional, lived experience and other experiences as a volunteer and consumer advisor to assist Alfred Health in their understanding of consumer views and expectations.
