As Chief Allied Health Officer at Alfred Health, Martin brings over two decades of experience in healthcare leadership across metropolitan and regional settings.
Martin has a clinical background as a Speech Pathologist and was a foundational leader in the Victorian Redesigning Hospital Care program where he supported multiple national Redesigning Healthcare Summits as a convener. Over the past six years, Martin has led Alfred Health’s flagship clinical programs: Alfred Heart & Lung, Brain, Cancer, Specialty Medicine, and Infectious Diseases.
Martin holds a Masters in Enterprise and is a strong advocate for transformative care models. He focuses on driving innovation, enhancing patient experiences, and forging partnerships that improve accessibility and care outcomes across the healthcare spectrum. His approach encourages a deep understanding of the evolving challenges and opportunities in modern healthcare and developing teams to deliver compassionate and timely care in complex environments.
