Communication Boards

These Communication Boards can be used to support communication with people who use pictures to communicate and understand information. The package consists of 6 sets of pictures relating to different healthcare topics and includes an alphabet and number chart.  Instructions for use are provided.

Yes/No Boards

The Yes/No board is a communication aid that can be used to obtain a ‘yes’, ‘no’ or ‘I don’t know?’ response from someone who is non-speaking and whose method of indicating ‘yes’ and ‘no’ is unclear to the person they are communicating with. Instructions for use are provided.

Pain Scale Set

A pain scale is a communication aid that supports someone to self-report the:

• Severity and type of pain using visual pain scale
• Location of the pain using gender neutral images of the human body.
