Course overview

The Emergency Nurse Leadership Program is a two day program designed to prepare experienced nurses for leadership roles in the emergency department setting. It provides an opportunity for personal development and reflection whilst exploring key management concepts as they are implemented in the emergency department.

The two day workshop is highly interactive and participants are encouraged to openly discuss their own leadership experiences, challenges and aspirations. Participants are required to complete approximately five hours of pre-learning activities and attend both of the workshop days.

Participants should have minimum five years nursing experience with at least two years in an emergency department setting. This course is offered by The Alfred Hospital Emergency and Trauma Centre and Monash University.
