Dr Ing Soo Tiong

Dr Ing Soo Tiong is a Consultant Haematologist at the Alfred Hospital. He was awarded HSANZ New Investigator Scholarship (2017), was the Leukaemia Fellow at the Alfred Hospital in 2016-2017, and completed his research higher degree (MPhil, Monash University) in 2022. His research interests are acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and molecular haematology (molecular haematologist at PeterMac). He has greater than 20 publications in peer reviewed journals.

He is an active member of the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG), and is actively involved in clinical trials in AML and MDS, including using novel therapy to pre-emptively target measurable residual disease in AML.
