After medical school training and Radiology training in Hong Kong, Dr Cheung moved to The Alfred in 1996.
Dr Cheung's special interest is percutaneous tumour ablation for abdominal tumours, using various instruments, including radiofrequency ablation, microwave ablation and irreversible electroporation. Researches on these ablations have been published.
