Dr Raquel Ruiz Araujo
Dr Raquel Ruiz is a dermatologist who completed her training and fellowship in Peru in 2009 then became Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologist in 2013.
She has been successfully recognised and completed specialist training in tertiary referral hospitals including The Alfred, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne and the Skin and Cancer Foundation.
She has been a member of the Victorian Melanoma Service since 2013 and exclusively dedicated to perform and interpret In Vivo Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy in Victoria with special interest in mapping ill-defined melanomas.
She has been participating as a member with The Australia and New Zealand Melanoma Trials Group (ANZMTG) which coordinates and conducts quality research for melanoma. She is also a full time dermatologist consultant at Geelong Dermatology, and Medical Board of Australia appointed supervisor of International Medical Graduate and supervisor of Dermatology Registrars in Geelong.
