Neurodiversity and complex mental health

Patient information

View Health Professional Information
We assess children and youth aged from birth to 25 years who have complex psychiatric and medical presentations.

What we do

Our multidisciplinary team specialises in conditions that are complex and involve the intersection of psychiatry, neurology, medicine and disability, including:

  • Emotional, social and behavioural difficulties
  • Learning difficulties
  • Complex autism spectrum disorders
  • Co-occurring mental health and intellectual disabilities

The team works to support the families of children and young people and to prevent secondary psychiatric impairment by means of early detection and management of dual disabilities.
