Child and Youth Hope program

For children and young people aged 0 to 25 years who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, behaviour, or who are at risk of serious self-harm.

What we do

Alfred Health’s Child and Youth Hope is a 12-week program providing short-term support to young people experiencing suicidal crisis. This includes support to help you manage distress and your mental health, develop life skills, engage in your community, access other health and social support services, and explore self-care activities.

As an outreach service, the team meets you where you feel most comfortable: in the community, at home or via Telehealth.

The team is here to support you and the important people in your life: family, friends and loved ones. Together, we can help you get back on track and lead the life you want to.

Who we care for

Children and young people (aged 0 to 25 years) who are experiencing suicidal thoughts, behaviour, or who are at risk of serious self-harm.
