Alfred Health offer extensive training opportunities in General Surgery and Specialty Surgery. We provide rotations which are accredited by the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS).
We will assist in tailoring the training and rotational program that meets the specific RACS requirements for entry to the SET program you intend to apply to. We provide a supportive environment where training and learning is encouraged, and consultant surgeons are available to teach and advise.
To apply for a 2025 Unaccredited Registrar – General Surgery position, you must be a PGY4 or Registrar Year 1 in 2025.
Rotations will be across general surgery, trauma and rural rotations and six months rotations may be possible.
