Trauma Physiotherapy Course - 2023 (two half days)

This course is aimed at new graduate physiotherapists and those with limited acute trauma experience.

The content presented in this course will include basic acute trauma injury profiles and acute physiotherapy assessment and management skills.

This course is run over two afternoons and attendance at both is required.

Dates: Wednesday 12th July and Wednesday 26th July 2023

Time:    13:45 - 17:00pm Melbourne time (on both days)

  • orthopaedic trauma
  • pelvic trauma
  • spinal trauma
  • chest trauma
  • elderly trauma
  • early rehabilitation
  • discharge planning

NOTE: The course runs over two Wednesday afternoons (2 weeks apart).  Each afternoon covers different content so attendees are encouraged to attend both sessions.  You cannot register for just one session (ie. the registration fee covers whether you attend one session or both sessions). 

The sessions will be delivered live so you need to "attend" during the specified times.

If you would like to attend but live outside of Australia, please contact Asher Kirk prior to registering (email below) as we are investigating recording the sessions and providing a time limited link for access at a more appropriate time of day. Please note this option will ONLY be available for overseas participants (excluding NZ), as we want to encourage as much participation and interaction as possible.
