Active Management

Active Management programs are now being offered in selected outpatient clinics at Alfred Health.

About Active Management

We encourage our patients to live the healthiest lives possible. Active Management is an educational program developed to provide you with advice and information on how to best manage your health condition between the point of being referred to one of our units, and attending your first appointment.

Active management programs are now being offered for the first time in outpatient clinics at Alfred Health. The first clinics offering Active Management are:

  • Orthopaedics - for patients with back pain
  • Neurosurgery - for patients with back pain
  • Rheumatology - for patients with osteoarthritis
  • ENT1 - for patients with sinusitis
